Measure

Measure

You can now make point-to-point measurements with the measure tool. Just point at the locations you want to measure between, and the distance between them appears on a connecting line. Measurements update automatically, so it's easy to evaluate gaps while grabbing and moving parts. And because measurements are annotations, you can share them with links as with text and sketches.

Adding a measurement

1. Click on the measurement tool icon

On Desktop and iPad, this button is located in the bottom right corner.

On Quest, open the toolbar by pressing B on the right controller or Y on the left controller.

2. Drag to measure

You can also hold and drag the measurement pill to pull out a measurement and bring it farther away from the model surface (Desktop and Quest)

💡
Note: Measurements are absolute and will not change when using the Scale tool.
💡
Note: Moving parts of a model will also update an attached measurement.
