Getting Started on HTC VIVE

Getting Started on HTC Vive

Learn how to set up Campfire for Vive Focus Vision (via PC VR Streaming) and Vive Pro 2.

VIVE Focus Vision

  1. Set up your VIVE Focus Vision device
  2. Install VIVE Hub for Windows
  3. Toggle ON MR with passthrough

    4. Settings -> VIVE Streaming -> Graphics -> MR with passthrough

  1. Install Steam VR
  2. Connect your headset to your PC using the USB-C cable, put the headset on, and select “VIVE Streaming” when prompted (Make sure your PC meets the minimum requirements from HTC)
  3. Run Campfire for Headsets from your PC
    • C:\Program files\Campfire\Campfire for Headsets\Campfire for Headsets.exe

VIVE Focus Vision: Streaming over WiFi

  1. Turn on your headset
    • Make sure your PC and headset are on the same WiFi network
  2. Start the PC VR “SteamVR” app in the headset if not already running
  3. Start Campfire for Headsets from your PC
    • C:\Program files\Campfire\Campfire for Headsets\Campfire for Headsets.exe

Vive Pro 2

  1. Set up your VIVE Pro 2
  2. Install Steam VR
  3. Run Campfire for Headsets
    • C:\Program files\Campfire\Campfire for Headsets\Campfire for Headsets.exe
