Applying Materials

Applying Materials

Learn the basics of working with materials.

Campfire provides a wide selection of high-quality materials to customize your model. Materials can be applied to specific parts, as well as groups of parts. You have the flexibility to adjust the appearance of a part by tweaking individual parameters for each material. You can also easily apply textures in JPG and PNG formats to a material.

Let’s start with the basics. We’ll first learn how to apply a material to a part, view the properties of the applied material, and then apply the same material to a variety of parts.

Applying a material to a part

  1. In the inspector, select Materials tab
  2. Expand one of the categories to see the materials
  3. Drag a material onto a part to apply it
