Easily share projects with other Campfire users by adding their email address.
On Desktop or iPad
1. Inside the project, click the Share button in the top right corner

Note: you can only share a project with another user if you are the project Owner or an Editor.
2. Input the email of the user you would like to share with
You can input multiple emails by separating them with a comma.

Note: users you share with must create a Campfire account in order to view a project.
On Quest
1. Inside the project, open the universal menu and click the Share button in the top right corner.
2. Input the email of the user you want to share with and press Send.
Changing permissions and leaving a project
There are various types of permissions you can give users you share with:
Owner: The creator of a project who can view and navigate scenes and share, edit, and manage the projectEditor: A user invited to a project who can view and navigate scenes and share and edit the projectCommenter: A user invited to a project who can view scenes and use annotation tools Viewer: A user invited to a project who can view scenes
More details on user permissions To change a user’s permissions, click on the dropdown next to a user’s name. You can also revoke another user’s access to the project or leave a project that has been shared with you.

Note: you can only change the project permissions for others if you are the project Owner or an Editor.
Enterprise-wide sharing
Within an Enterprise organization, users can manage additional project permissions.

Why can’t I access a project that was shared with me? If you received a Campfire project link from someone else, make sure to create an account first.
The project will then automatically appear in your projects list and can also be accessed by clicking the link sent to your email.
If you did not receive an email, make sure the user sharing the project with you entered your email correctly.
How do I export comments? Open the annotation list in the top right corner of the UI and click on the export button to export all annotations in the scene as a CSV

In-room collaboration has stopped working. How do I fix it? If you don’t see a shared project after a few seconds, you might need to clear the point cloud cache on your Quest with the following steps:
- Navigate to Settings → Privacy & Safety → Device Permissions → Clear Physical Space History
- Click on Clear
- Create a new room-scale boundary
- Restart your device
Is in-room collaboration available on non-Quest devices? In-room collaboration is currently only available on Meta Quest devices.
Are some tools only available at certain times? Within a project, there can only be one presenter at a time. If you’re the only active user in a project, you’re automatically the presenter and all tools are available to you.
When there are multiple active users in a project, presenter tools are only available to one person at a time; however, presenter status can be handed off to any user at anytime. Presenter tools include move, rotate, scale, explode, slice, and grab. Also, only the presenter can change scenes, add scene backgrounds, and apply or edit materials.
How do I restrict which controls are available to another user? Whenever you share a project with another user, you’ll need to assign a permission role: viewer, commenter, or editor.
Viewers have view-only access and commenters are restricted to annotation tools only.
