Sharing

Sharing

Easily share a project with other Campfire users by adding their email address.

On Desktop or iPad

1. Inside the project, click on the Share button in the top right corner

Note: you can only share a project with another user if you are an Owner or an Editor.

2. Input the email of the user you would like to share with

Note: users you share with must create a Campfire account in order to view a project.

On Quest

1. Inside the project, open the universal menu and click on the Share button in the top right corner of the universal menu.

2. Input the email of the user you want to share with and press the Send button

Changing permissions and leaving a project

There are various types of permissions you can give users you share with:

  • Owner: The creator of a project who can view the scene, share, edit, and manage the project
  • Editor: A user invited to a project who can view the scene, share, and edit the project
  • Commenter: A user invited to a project who can view the scene and create annotations
  • Viewer: A user invited to a project who can view the scene

To change a user’s permissions, click on the dropdown next to a user’s name. You can also revoke another user’s access to the project or leave a project that has been shared with you.

Enterprise-wide sharing

Within an Enterprise organization, users can manage additional project permissions.

  • Invited members of ____ can access this project: Only users invited by email can access this project
  • All members of ____ can view this project: All users in the organization can view the scene
  • All members of ____ can comment on this project: All users in the organization can view the scene and create annotations
  • All members of ____ can edit this project: All users in the organization can view the scene, share, and edit the project
