Quest Link for Business Users

Quest Link for Business Users

This article is for Meta Quest for Business users who want to setup Quest Link. If your device is not managed by your organization using Quest for Business, please click here to continue.

Before you start, make sure:

  1. You have a Quest link cable
  2. You have a compatible PC.
  3. Your headset is NOT connected to the PC

1. Log into your Meta Work Account at https://work.meta.com

If you’re not sure or don’t have an account, please contact your IT administrator for help.

2. Click on Devices

3. Click Device presets

4. Select your organization’s enrollment Device preset

5. Click on Settings

6. Enable both USB debugging and Allow USB file transfer

7. Restart your headset for the new profile settings to take effect

8. Connect your headset to your PC with the cable and put your headset on

You will see the following prompt

Select Always allow from this computer and click on OK.

Start Quest Link in your headset by clicking on “Enable” in the pop-up or selecting Quick Settings → Link → Your PC → Launch

9. Run Campfire for Quest Link from your PC (Only required on the first run)

Located at C:\Program Files\Campfire\Campfire for Headsets\Campfire for Headsets.exe

This adds Campfire to your Quest Link library. The next time you run Quest Link on your headset, you will see a shortcut to Campfire and you can start the app directly from the headset.

10. Using Air Link (optional)

With Air Link you can connect your Quest 3 to a PC using your Wifi network (instead of a cable).

After pairing your headset to your PC with the USB cable you can enable Air link by following these steps:

  1. Run Meta Quest Link on your pc. (Do not connect your USB cable)
  2. On your Quest, click on Quick Settings
  3. Select Settings → Link
  4. Enable the toggle next to Use Air Link
  5. Select your PC in the list and click on Pair
  6. On your PC, confirm the pairing code matches what you saw on the headset and click Confirm.
  7. Put your headset back on.
  8. Select Launch to begin using Air Link.
